Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Food… bad experience in San Antonio
Let me start by saying that the service from the employees of Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Food in San Antonio was very good. Tonight at 9:17pm CST I paid for sub par food and I accept responsibility for being nice and a less than demanding customer.
When I walked into Panda Express I was greeted with a smile and then asked what could they get for me. I looked and immediately saw that they was only 1 serving of chow mein and maybe 3 scoops of rice (should have walked out). So I asked how long would it take for the chow mein and they stated 5 minutes and it actually took right at 5 minutes to get the fresh chow mein (that was good I guess). I assumed there was more rice being cooked as well, but that was not the case (should have walked out). Then I asked how long would it be to get fresh rice and they said 10 min so I just took what was there. Luckily they put out fresh orange chicken out but the person before me got the butt end of the chicken that was sitting under the heat lamp. Wait there is more about the food at Panda Express in San Antonio…the egg rolls where old, the shrimp rangoon was old, there was one serving of Madrin Chicken and this was only 9:17….. Panda Express still had 43 minutes to closing.
When I go to eat at any place I expect for there to be a good selection, the food be fresh and the service good. Tonight Panda Express did not have a good selection and the food was not fresh.
This post is not about a bitch or a rant defaming or degrading Panda Express. Tonight well tonight was not good at all and I am disappointed, my bill was 18.06 and I don’t think that I got my monies worth.
I know that I should have walked in, saw what was going on and walked out.
I am starting a business to train people how to use social media and blogging to protect and grow there brand. If I run my business like Panda runs their business then I will be BROKE.
With all this said my daughter just walked in and said DAD this was GOOD!…. she had Rice and Orange chicken from the Panda Express in San Antonio. If she is happy then that makes me happy and my sub par food will taste that much better, KIDS got to luv ‘em
So now I will go eat my food………. I am sure I will enjoy some of it

Too bad about your bad experience with PE. Sometimes when you are hungry the thought of leaving and finding another place is daunting, the road less traveled…especially when you want Asian food! Hope someone from PE is monitoring blogs.

I experienced the same issue in a local sit down restaurant. They were out of bacon for my turkey club and instead of foccacia (sp) bread they tried to give me white bread. I only stayed there because we had a gift card that we had to use up!!!
