27 days to live, your last speech.
You have been told that you have 27 days to live. In this time you have been invited to give a speech to college students. The speech is normally a fictitious account of what you would say if you knew that you only had one last speech to give to your class.
Unfortunalty you have been told by your doctors that you only have 27 days to live and this really is your last speech to your class.
What would you tell your class?
What words of wisdom would you impart to your class?
How would you say goodbye?
Any other ideas?

Dude, that’s a toughie. I don’t know what the heck I would say. Probably talk to them about how they need to live life for themselves and not according to anyone else’s wishes. In the end, you only have one life, and when you live it to please someone else, you’re not getting enough out of it. If more young people understood that, they’d lead a lot happier lives.

Interesting question. I’m not going to write a speech (too many demands on my time), but here goes with some quick answers.
What would you tell your class?
Introduce myself, it was a large class, say that I have 27 days to live, and a short explanation of why I’m on a definite countdown.
What words of wisdom would you impart to your class?
I’m a devout Catholic, so I would explain, as efficiently as possible, why, and how, i am preparing for my imminent death: and why this is, in a way, a wonderful opportunity for cleaning up my act.
Assuming, of course, that I could get away with that sort of statement. You did say ‘a college class.’
How would you say goodbye?
“Goodbye.”
Any other ideas?
I’d probably try to make some sort of witticism. Haven’t a clue, what, at this point.
